Appointed in September 2014, Euro-City has supported and worked alongside McLaren Construction to complete the new Rolls Royce production facility at Oldlands Farm Business Park, Shripney.
The state of the art facilities comprised single storey steel frame buildings, facades and integral administration accommodation.
Euro-City’s input to the project was extensive and the challenging works included raising the existing ground level to lift the building out of the flood plain, preparing all foundations and drainage.
The new facility, which occupies 30,000 square metres, will provide logistics to support the company’s manufacturing plant and head office at Westhampnett for current and future models.
It will also consolidate three current operations: an inbound warehouse for production parts, a distribution centre (including an inbound body store and finished car store) and a workshop.
