Euro-City wins its 2nd project in the education sector so far this year.

This time, the company has secured a £1.3M groundworks project for Kingsgate School in North West London in conjunction with Graham Construction.

The project, which commenced in March 16, allows for the construction of a new two-storey building for students aged four to seven years, a new nursery for children aged three to four years and a community centre.

The expansion forms part of a two phase redevelopment for the school.  Phase one, which Euro-City is heavily involved with, covers the site preparation and initial construction work for the new school buildings, access road and landscaping for the expansion.

According to local councillor Angela Mason the expansion will create 420 additional primary places in the North of Camden.  The site does, however, pose a number of challenges as it is tightly constrained by nearby homes and rail network.

Euro-City is of course looking forward to getting its hands dirty on this project and finding solutions to minimise disruption without compromising delivery.
